Niepoort 2021 Twisted Branco
This fun everyday white is all about simplicity. Grapefruit freshness, a touch of herbs, and a dry, almost chalky finish make this a winner. It’s a well rounded everyday white, just fruity enough to go with a wide variety of foods and almost every occasion. A slightly lower alcohol content is super on-trend.
The fruit was transported to the Quinta de Nápoles in refrigerated trucks, and then sorted carefully upon arrival at the winery before being pressed in an automatic press. After cold-settling, the musts were racked into stainless steel tanks where they fermented spontaneously at controlled temperatures and then spent a further six months maturing on the fine lees without bâtonage.
